Everest Base Camp Trek

Everest Base Camp Trek is realistically the most famous of all adventure lover in Everest regions trek which is protected by the Sagarmatha National Park. Everest region is situated in eastern Nepal. It is probably the most popular destination for you to view not only the highest point on earth and three of the world's highest peaks but also the attractions of the stone walled fields, homes of ancient villages, golden roofed monasteries and above all the legendary Sherpas themselves who make the dream come true for the hundreds of mountaineers helping them to climb the Himalayas.

Mount Everest Base Camp has been very popular destination for all adventure lover since the very first expeditions to the Nepalese side of Everest in the 1953 by those guys Hilary and Tenzing, to get feel of Everest base camp trekking, the part of the Mahalangur Himalaya range, the Everest base camp within a limited time, we have strongly suggested to do 14 days trek to Everest Base Camp which runs directly from Kathmandu- Lukla - Everest base camp – Lukla – Kathmandu.

Everest base camp trekking is possible for to do trekking whole year round, the best times to visit Everest base camp from the beginning of March to mid May in spring & September to end of November in autumn. The winters are very cold and snow may make it difficult to travel higher than Tengboche, and also lodges may be closed above this altitude. Summers, on the other hand, are wet, and the spectacular peaks often lost in the clouds. April and early May is a good time to see the hedgerows and trees bursting into bloom, with Rhododendrons, in particular, adding a spectacular splash of color to the landscape.

The Everest base camp trek is lodge-based trek which is follows in the footsteps of Hillary and Tenzing, the great climbing parties. We start our Everest base camp trek from Lukla after a 30 minute scenic flight from Kathmandu, When we land at that tiny airstrip in Lukla airport the adventure really begins, the trek passing through Sherpa village past cultivated fields, we follow the Dudh Kosi before the hard work begins as we climb up to Namche Bazaar.
