Annapurna Base Camp Trekking
Annapurna base camp trek is famous for trekkers. The principal peaks of the western portion of the great Annapurna Himal, including Hiunchuli, Annapurna South, Fang, Annapurna, Gangapurna, Annapurna 3 and Machhapuchhre, are arranged almost precisely in a circle about 10 miles in diameter with a deep glacier-covered amphitheater at the center. This trek offers you fantastic view of snow capped high mountains and landscapes of terraced fields and is also free of the high altitude sickness.
Annapurna base camp trekking starts from Nayapul & Birenthanti and the trek combines spectacular mountain scenery with incredible cultural diversity and traverses through rural farms and villages. This is the most popular and famous trek in Nepal. It is more distinct than any other treks by its variety of people, rich culture, beautiful landscapes and natural scenery. It is a good introductory route for close encounters with the Himalayas in a short period of time. From the Annapurna Base Camp you will have a close look of Mt. Annapurna and Mt. Machhapuchhre. At the final destination the Annapurna sanctuary (Base camp 4200m.) will be awaiting you patiently. |
