Phulchoki Hiking in Nepal
Phulchoki is one of the most prominent peak 2829m for hikers, which surrounds the valley of Kathmandu. This mountain, as the name indicate (In Nepali Phul means flower) is a natural garden of wild roses, yellow jasmine, iris and other native flowers. The summit is a rich grove of rhododendrons of various hues. The four wheelers passing road leads to the top of the hill where there is a Buddhist shrine. A youthful hiker stands a good chance of scaling the peak in a little more than three hours. The place has all the makings of a peaceful resort area.
Detail Itinerary |
- Day 01: Arrive at Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA) Kathmandu. You are welcomed by hospitable meeting and then you will be transferred to hotel. Our airport representative will explain briefly the program upon arrival. Overnight at Hotel.
- Day 02: Sightseeing of world heritage sites in Kathmandu valley including, Kathmandu Darbar square, Swayambhunath, Boudhanath stupa & Pashupatinath Temple.
- Day 03: Drive to Godavari southeast of Kathmandu. Hike to Phulchowki; bird & butterfly watching in Phulchowki (2759m) & Godavari at Royal Botanical Garden, then drive back to Kathmandu for Overnight.
- Day 04: Transfer to the International airport to connect onward destination or Join another programs with Nepal Hiking Team.!!

- Nepal entry visa fee (US$ 30 per person) you obtain a visa easily upon your arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport Kathmandu for 60 days from date of issue. You required 2 passport size photos & your password copy.
- Items of a personal nature such as alcoholic drinks, cold drinks, laundry.
- Personal clothing and equipments.
- Tips for guide and driver. (Tipping is expected).
